This game is designed for use in pairs with CGI support, but unfortunatly custom CGI scripts are not supported on this server, and all features of the applet can't be displayed here.
This game is limited to a client-side version which has two major parameters to be customized: WINURL and LOSTURL, URLs of the documents are to be loaded on the players win and lost. What is Win and what is Lost? At the beginning of the game, both the Dealer and the Player have 1000 credits. When the Player spends all of his credits he loses, if the player wins all of the dealer's credits then he wins. According to the end result of the game, the winning or losing page will be loaded. In this demo, I didn't create actual win/lost pages, If you win you will be derected to the Downloads page, if you lose you will be taken to the root of my java collection.
Another parameter that one can customize is Image URL. This is just a place for any custom image.
Additional features for use with the CGI version. One can supply the applet with a TRANSACTION URL, applet which would interact with the server using this URL to post each game transaction result, including win or lost amount and customer ID. In responce, the server should return plain-text commands including dealer score, player score, number of games played, and win percentage. In addition, the server can return ShowDocument command if the user or dealer wins, or optional ShowImage command. So the image shown at the applet will be replaced with a new one. So one can create a script on the server-side to control Strip sequence. The last option will show the message command. Its function is to show some short phrase(s) at the borttom of the game statistics area.
